I am happy to announce the next 6 breads for Ye olde Highlands bakery shoppe subscribers and those that might be thinking about joining the adventure in dough! Here they are:  drum roll please…and let the curtain rise…  OCTOBER 3 MONDAY:  KALAMATA OLIVE/ROSEMARY

NOVEMBER 8 TUESDAY:  FIG AND TOASTED WALNUT

DECEMBER 6TH TUESDAY:  PUMPERNICKLE

JANUARY 9TH 2017: ROASTED POTATO AND GARLIC SOURDUGH

FEBRUARY 7TH 2017: SQUAW BREAD

MARCH 7TH 2017:  TO BE ANNOUNCED.. 

a longer newsletter will be following shortly telling you all the news from the bakery.. musings on the trials and tribulations of sourdough.. my amazing oster oven that just won’t quit… my realizing that I might have burnt the bakery down if I did not quickly change location of my oven (dunt vorry.. we have had enough fires around here.. so the bakery is going strong! )  and now for a quick tease here is a picture or your upcoming kalamata olive…  kalamata-olive
